Mini kit, seat valve gaskets for tuning the valve clearance of the RG 500. It includes 12 pieces in 3 different thicknesses (4 pieces for each thickness) at a price lower than purchasing same gaskets separately. You can choose freely among the avaialble thicknesses otherwise we'll give you the thicknesses that are more commonly used.
Tuning of the valve clearance is achieved by adjusting the thickness of the gaskets that are placed between the inner valve seat and the engine cases; this is only possible if you are using our own production outer valve covers where the ORing is relocated to the cover's outside. If you are using the stock valve covers instead this adjustment is not possible (or only by a limited extent) because in this case the ORing is placed between the outer cover and the inner plate and changing the gasket thickness the ORing preload is modified too hence it could become too much or too little.
