Choose the reeds thickness depending on the track (thinner reeds, narrow tracks; thicker reeds, fast tracks).

You get best results by installing in the bottom position of the reeds block a reed that's a couple hundredths thicker than the one in the top position (e.g. 0.34 mm bottom and 0.32 mm top).
